Zoe-perry

Perry was born on the 25th of July 1968 in Chicago in Illinois. She was the daughter of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. Her first television performances were Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother played the role. Her parents, however, were not keen to let her pursue acting until she became an adult fearing the effect of stress. Perry was shy during high school and didn't act. She began acting at Northwestern University to gain friends as she moved to the university from Boston University. Perry following her graduation from Boston University moved into New York in search of TV roles. Perry was able to land small roles on TV shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. But, her home-sickness led her to California for theater roles. Perry was a part of Broadway as a part of The Other Place with her mother in the year 2013. Kevin McKidd, her father Kevin McKidd performed in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Anna Christie alongside her in 2015. Perry starred in nine episodes of ABC's drama The Family. In 2017, Perry had the role of a political thriller Scandal along with her father. Also, she was cast on The CBS show The Big Bang Theory spinoff Young Sheldon as a version younger of Mary Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's mother. Despite her family link to the character, she was offered the role via an audition.
