Lita Rossana Ford was born in the United Kingdom and was an American guitarist, vocalist, and music writer. In the late 70s she was a lead guitar for the hard-rocking All-girl group The Runaways. The band did not enjoy any fans within the United States. However, the group's popularity increased abroad especially in Japan. Ford was able to enjoy a long and prosperous career as a solo musician after the group broke up together in 1979. Her debut album as a solo artist was 'Dancin' On the Edge which was followed by her Album Out for Blood. The albums of Ford were not particularly popular and she went on hiatus for a couple of years. The smash-hit album "Lita" was released by Ford in 1988. The track "Kiss Me Deadly" and ballad "Close My Eyes forever" became huge hit songs. The popularity of her was temporary, and she was gone for several years. In 1995 she debuted "Black" and fifteen years later , 'Wicked Wonderland. Her latest album was released Time Capsule in 2016. Guitar Player Magazine awarded her the award of a Certified Guitar Legend.
