Lita Rossana Ford often referred to as Lita Ford is a British American musician, songwriter and guitarist who was the lead guitarist of the all-girl hard rock band The Runaways in the late 1970s.Their punkish sound and rebellious lyrics made them popular in the rock world. The group failed to achieve major success within their home country of the United States but earned huge popularity overseas especially in Japan. Ford started a metal solo career following the band's broke up in 1979. Her debut solo album was 'Dancin' on the Edge which was followed by her Album Out for Blood. The release of Black in 1995 was followed by fifteen-year delay for the album 'Wicked Wonderland. "Time Capsule" was her album "Time Capsule" was released by her in 2016. Guitar Player Magazine has awarded her The Certified Guitar Legend Award.
