Lita Rossana Ford often referred to as Lita Ford is a British American musician, songwriter and guitarist who was the lead guitarist of the all-girl hard rock group The Runaways in the late 1970s.Their punkish sound and rebellious lyrics helped them get noticed within the world of rock. Although the band did not make much progress in America however they became extremely popular in other countries. It was particularly true in Japan. After the band split in 1979, Ford began a successful solo career in heavy metal. She took voice lessons and released her first solo album , 'Out for Blood' followed by 'Dancin' on the Edge. Ford was unable to achieve anything with either of them and disappeared from the world of rock for about a decade. Her biggest hit, 'Lita' was released in the year 1989. the single 'Kiss me Deadly' as well as the ballad 'Close My Eyes Forever were both major success. Unfortunately her popularity was only temporary, and she was gone for a couple of years. In 1995, she dropped "Black," and 15 years later 'Wicked Wonderland.
