Lita Rossana Ford popularly known as Lita Ford is a British-born American musician, songwriter and guitarist who was the lead guitarist of the all-girl rock band The Runaways in the late 1970s.Their punkish sound and rebellious lyrics helped them get noticed throughout the world of rock. The group wasn't successful on the scene in the United States, it gained huge popularity abroad. Ford's solo metal career had a great success following the group break-up. She started taking voice lessons before releasing her debut album "Out for Blood" which was followed by "Dancin" at the Edge. In 1995, she dropped "Black," and 15 years later , 'Wicked Wonderland. The album "Time Capsule" was made available by her in the year 2016. Guitar Player Magazine presented her with the Certified Guitar Legend Award.
